Learning Support
for Disabled Students Undertaking Fieldwork and Related Activities
Workshop Report:
Providing Learning Support for Students with Mobility Problems
Issues arising from workshop:
- Good practice in providing learner
support for people with mobility impairment (or indeed any other form of disability)
is very often good practice for all learners in any case.
- There is a clear need for well-defined
and effective structures enabling good communication between all parties concerned,
including the student, the teacher, course managers, and disability advisors.
- Communications need to be established
as early as possible.
