Lower Severn Community Flood Information Network

Welcome to the project

'Promoting community engagement with flood history and awareness of flood risk'

Welcome to the homepage of the Lower Severn Community Flood Information Network.
This exciting University of Gloucestershire initiative was funded by the Royal Society and the Environment Agency from August 2004 - July 2006, with a further contribution from the Cheltenham & Gloucester plc.  The project aims to promote awareness of local flood histories and flood risk along the River Severn and capture information from, and experiences of, individuals and communities affected by the River Severn's long history of flooding (see project aims).
